about

Tres Notas para decir Te Quiero: "Three Notes to say I love You" is the English translation of this classic tune by Spanish Flamenco guitarist Vicente Amigo, who is for many the successor of Paco de Lucia. In this arrangement by Silvano Pagliuca-Mena (the pianist and bandleader), he took the language of the Flamenco-guitar and translated it to a Jazz Sextet context without losing the essence of any of both genres: Flamenco-Gypsy melodies and harmonies with Jazz instruments and forms.
